About Guelph Gas
A cleaner energy future,
built on solid foundations.
Our story
Nigerian energy, delivered responsibly
Established in 2004, Guelph Gas Limited is developing a compressed natural gas (CNG) mother station to supply cleaner-burning energy to industrial and commercial customers across Nigeria’s South-South and South-East.
Our facility in Ibesikpo Asutan LGA, Akwa Ibom, is designed to compress natural gas for safe storage and trailer-based delivery — reaching businesses that the pipeline network does not serve, and helping them move away from more costly and more polluting fuels.
The project is recognised under the Federal Government’s “Gas to Prosperity” and “Decade of Gas” initiatives, and was officially flagged off in April 2025 by the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas).
Our mission
To deliver reliable, cleaner natural gas that powers Nigerian industry and supports the nation’s transition to a lower-carbon economy.
